Situation:
The home healthcare service provider sought to integrate a recent acquisition seamlessly into its existing company structure while ensuring operational continuity and alignment with strategic goals. Having previously worked with Vector Advisory to establish its M&A Integration Playbook, the client aimed to tailor and refine the playbook to align with the specific needs of this acquisition.

Our approach leveraged proven integration tools, templates, and governance frameworks to guide the client through a structured and repeatable process. Vector’s support included:
- Providing pre-sign support to ensure all diligence areas are covered in the M&A Integration Playbook and identifying priority pre-close and post-close activities.
- Establishing and leading the Integration Management Office (IMO) to oversee the integration process.
- Enhancing the M&A Integration Playbook originally created with Vector to ensure a tailored approach.
- Facilitating cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication to drive execution and minimize disruptions.
Results:
Over a 7-month period, Vector Advisory successfully led integration efforts, ensuring a structured and efficient transition. This included refining the M&A Integration Playbook for current and future acquisitions, establishing a governance structure for better oversight, and streamlining the transition process to support long-term operational success.
