Michael Salazar recently joined the Vector Advisory family as a Managing Director, establishing a presence for the firm in Seattle, Washington. “Having known Michael for over 15 years, including working directly with him in developing leading solutions and strategies at Big 4, I can’t be more excited about the impact he can have on our current and future clients” said Shelby Faubion, Founder and Managing Partner of Vector Advisory.
Michael will be leading the Cost Management services vertical as well as providing other advisory services across the firm, including M&A. Michael is a former Big 4 partner and CFO/COO and brings over 25 years of experience in finance and operations.
He has a diverse set of skills from his experience in international tax, finance, and operations. He has held various leadership positions including serving as; the CFO/COO of a global SaaS company with international operations in Ireland, the UK, Germany, and China, the lead partner for a Big 4 firm’s Southern California IT security practice, and the global director on a project that has transformed the way the internet operates today.
Michael has been the driving force behind the development and implementation of financial and operational strategies, including the identification, acquisition, and integration of value-enhancing assets. He excels in developing and implementing new operating models and business processes. Through his work, he has helped organizations create better processes and reduce their overall cost structure.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics. He has several certifications including a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
